Milo Machado Graner finds his first role in the successful series In therapy , where he plays nothing more and nothing less than the son of the psychiatrist and psychoanalyst played by Frédéric Pierrot . He continued by appearing in En attendant Bojangles , 8 Rue de l’Humanité and the television film with Fred Testot Fortunately we have each other . In 2023, Milo is starring in Anatomy of a Fall , a thriller and trial film by Justine Triet which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes. He plays the visually impaired son of the character played by Sandra Hüller , who is accused of having murdered her companion.
The director and her “acting collaborator” Cynthia Arra first cast visually impaired children for four months. Then, as they couldn’t find anything, they opened the casting to sighted children for three more months, before coming across Milo: “It was Jill Gagé (in casting support) who found him. He was immediately impressive, as if he wasn’t playing. He learned the piano intensively, and then, with Cynthia, we researched together the level of visual impairment with the help of people specializing in visual impairment.”
